I love historical tiffany and this is a classic - Spear of Hastings copied from a circa 1500 English church window not far from the famous battlefield where Norman and Anglo-Saxon fought for the English Throne. (Hastings is generally rated as the most decisive battle, with far reaching overtones, for the English speaking world.) The spear pattern is also seen in the famous Bayeux Tapestry, c1066, recording the battle for posterity. Classic American Arts & Crafts coloration: Spear is Avocado Green and Rust set against a background of Mission Beige rippled glass. Meyda's window is wood framed and 100% art glass both copper foiled and hand leaded. Nicely sized at 17" high, 14" wide. Chain and hanging bracket with Mission Bronze finish. Wood frame is finished in a Mission dark brown. #MEA98100 (Reg $119) Sale Price includes free UPS shipping
