So the story goes..Sometime around 1910 a northern California craftswoman created a stunning mission shade for a Colonel stationed at Fort Bragg. She called the design Inglenook and made quite a few thereafter as it turned out to be quite popular. Like all things, time passed and the design fell out of favor and was lost in the mist of the Great Depression then World War II and all that followed afterward. Quoizel found and revived the design for their 2007 Mission Line. They stayed as authentic as they could constructing the semi flush of 248 pieces of copper foiled and hand leaded art glass and finishing the ceiling base of the semi flush in their exclusive Valiant Bronze finish.
